Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop engineering, mathematical, simulation, optimization, and AI/ML models to drive solutions to manufacturing and supply chain problems.
  • •Identify highly complex problems across factory performance, loading, equipment performance, and decision science for supply and distribution networks.
  • •Build, validate, and apply decision algorithms, heuristics, optimization and simulation models, and AI tools.
  • •Partner with business units to identify root causes, define strategic and tactical needs, and translate them into technical business solutions.
  • •Develop solutions using formal technical training, business knowledge, and judgment.

Key Requirements

  • •Pursuing a Masters or PhD in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Management Science, or a related field with deterministic/stochastic optimization modeling and programming.
  • •Strong operations research fundamentals, including linear programming.
  • •Experience with programming in C# or Python.
  • •Knowledge of database management systems such as SQL Server (added advantage).
  • •Able to commit to a minimum 6-month internship and be onsite at least 3 days per week.
