Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform piping design and engineering activities for facilities while adhering to maintenance, safety, and quality standards across design phases.
  • •Develop 3D models and ensure clash-free coordination with other disciplines; coordinate 3D model reviews and close review comments.
  • •Approve drawings, including plot plans, in line with project specifications and McDermott procedures; develop plant design and 3D modelling outputs.
  • •Act as lead designer and point of contact in project communications and meetings; address inter-discipline aspects and manage change effectively.
  • •Coordinate discipline interfaces, identify issues and scope changes, support progress measurement for the lead engineer, and supervise less-experienced team members.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience with major contractor or consultant, including oil and gas Pre-FEED, FEED, and Detailed Design.
  • •High school graduate with a diploma in Mechanical Design or Drafting (or equivalent experience).
  • •Detailed knowledge of 3D CAD systems including E3D or SP3D.
  • •Minimum 1–2 projects working experience in E3D and/or S3D.
  • •Detailed knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Auto lisp, and familiarity with relevant industry standards and specifications.
