Key Responsibilities

  • •Integrate new industrial tooling by ensuring technical compatibility and fit with production lines.
  • •Challenge and pilot internal customers and suppliers to secure the right technical level, cost, and lead times while ensuring supplier commitments are respected.
  • •Provide expertise for cost and cycle estimating, perform CATIA-based CAD modeling, and run structural calculations via finite element methods.
  • •Develop and deliver tooling and equipment in compliance with acquisition rules and processes.
  • •Support production with the technical assistance needed to resolve on-site issues quickly.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong expertise in composite tooling manufacturing, including draping/molding technologies for pre-impregnated parts (steel, Invar, composite).
  • •Proficiency in CATIA, structural calculations using the finite element method, and estimating tooling costs and realization cycles.
  • •Ability to adapt communication to different stakeholders (suppliers, production, internal customers).
  • •Knowledge of RTM (Resin Transfer Molding), LRI (Liquid Resin Infusion), or thermocompression processes (punch/matrix).
  • •Experience with multi-material assembly tooling (aluminum, composite) or machining activities.
