Key Responsibilities

  • •Help manage the regional payroll team by enforcing payroll cutoffs and serving as final approval authority for standard pay runs.
  • •Act as primary point of contact for Tax, Finance, and People Operations, preventing out-of-scope work and protecting team capacity.
  • •Track payroll partner SLAs and monitor operational performance; develop robust processes for accurate, efficient, and timely payroll execution.
  • •Lead and manage comprehensive internal and external audit walkthroughs and proactively manage logged risk items to ensure compliance.
  • •Prepare and cross-check payrolls to deadlines, address first- and second-line payroll queries, and drive payroll projects such as system implementations and process automation.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of prior in-house payroll processing experience in a high-growth, product or tech-led company.
  • •3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with global payroll systems, including running payroll cycles and handling payroll audits/reconciliations.
  • •Experience with Latam and North America payroll scope.
  • •Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, formulas) and high proficiency in modern payroll software.
  • •Fluent English (written and verbal) with strong communication to support stakeholders and queries.
