Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and provide day-to-day supervision of multiple field crews, including mentoring junior field staff.
  • •Ensure field teams adhere to safety and quality guidelines and comply with project schedule requirements.
  • •Create and maintain field crew schedules across multiple projects and locations; track progress to meet communicated schedule/budget.
  • •Read and interpret utility drawings, as-builts, GIS files, and utility records; initiate and document utility records requests with utility owners/operators and utility one-call centers.
  • •Use geophysical and survey equipment (e.g., GPR, GPS, Total Station) to identify, designate, and locate utilities; perform field audits, QA/QC, and troubleshoot technical problems in the field.

Key Requirements

  • •BS degree with 4 years of related experience, OR AS degree with 6 years of related experience, OR High School with 8 years of related experience.
  • •SUE and/or private utility locating experience with demonstrated commitment to quality and attention to detail.
  • •Experience and understanding of SUE practices and procedures in accordance with ASCE 38-02 & 38-22.
  • •Valid U.S. Driver’s License and ability to pass client-required background checks.
  • •Ability to perform frequent travel, outdoor work, lifting up to 50 pounds, and daily walking several miles across uneven terrain.
