Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Follow safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment for all team members.
  • •Align, position, and fit components into fixtures as instructed, and weld simple assemblies to specifications.
  • •Set up the gas-shielded MIG welder and read blueprints/welding symbols to complete tasks.
  • •Monitor and adjust a robotic welder to ensure quality throughout each run.
  • •Maintain 5S standards and execute inventory paperwork and computer transactions when needed, while adhering to SQDC metrics.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have demonstrated skill level of wire feed (M.I.G.) welding.
  • •Read and understand blueprints, welding symbols, tape measure, and work order instructions.
  • •Ability to set up and weld parts to specifications, including using an oxygen/acetylene cutting torch.
  • •Able to lay out parts using a weld fixture and perform basic maintenance on welding equipment.
  • •Good mathematical skills and ability to execute tasks to meet quality and productivity goals.
