Key Responsibilities

•Provide chair-side assistance to the Dentist/Dental Specialist/Hygienist in the delivery of dental services to patients.
•Assist with administrative tasks such as entering/updating patient records and other duties as required by the Dentist.
•Promote oral health to patients and maintain optimal hygiene of the surgery.
•Maintain cleanliness and effective operation of the dental surgery and equipment.
•Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality care.

Key Requirements

•Certificate III in Dental Assisting or nationally recognised equivalent qualification.
•Minimum of 2 years (full time equivalent) experience within the last 5 years.

•Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
•Ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality care to patients within a dental surgery.
