Job Summary

Design fire protection services and associated systems for a range of building types, ensuring work outputs align with project schedules and WSP QA procedures. Maintain records for incoming and outgoing drawings, coordinate with other design disciplines, and liaise with WSP personnel, partners, and clients. Use fire protection software and 3D modelling to develop system designs, support multidisciplinary project activities, and assist in training and development of subordinates.

Key Responsibilities

•Design fire protection services for any building types or classes and all associated systems of work.
•Manage and maintain records of incoming and outgoing drawings in accordance with WSP QA procedures.
•Liaise with WSP personnel, partners, affiliates, and clients, and coordinate with other design disciplines.
•Manage and control outputs according to the design work program, attending meetings when required.
•Use fire protection software and 3D modelling to develop fire protection system designs.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering.
•At least 5 years of experience in a similar capacity.
•Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME) is a plus.
•Knowledge in wet and dry fire protection systems.
•AutoCAD and Revit experience is a must.
