Key Responsibilities

  • •Support maintenance, reliability, and upgrades of underground infrastructure systems for the underground fixed plant department.
  • •Coordinate scope development, project schedule, engineering design, tender packages, evaluations, procurement, and contractor management for improvements and maintenance.
  • •Ensure safety-in-design compliance with Oyu Tolgoi health and safety systems and complete designs/fabricated components to required standards and international best practices.
  • •Analyze fixed plant and infrastructure reports to identify issues and bottlenecks, recommend actions, and track implementation.
  • •Follow the Rio Asset Management Process in SAP from procurement through FLOC, BOMs, and maintenance strategies/tactics; participate in RCAs and maintenance/operations discussions.

Key Requirements

  • •Maintenance background with Mechanical Engineering qualifications.
  • •Experience leading construction projects and multidisciplinary teams for plant improvements.
  • •Strong HSE and Quality commitment.
  • •Experience in piping systems and underground mining construction, operations, and maintenance.
  • •At least 10 years of experience in engineering, construction and design.
