Key Responsibilities

  • •Do platform system design and development for next-generation networking products, applying underlying hardware knowledge.
  • •Integrate PHY drivers from multiple vendors and identify/integrate required OS changes and upgrades.
  • •Work on Linux networking components and related system functionality.
  • •Develop platform framework components including virtual machine support (hypervisors) and/or Kubernetes-based Docker/microservices.
  • •Collaborate as an individual contributor in multi-site work across different time zones with other teams.

Key Requirements

  • •BE/B.Tech or ME/MTech in Electronics & communications or Computer Science.
  • •8 to 12 years of experience with switch/router hardware and software architecture and networking domain knowledge.
  • •Experience in platform infrastructure and embedded software device driver development for switches/routers.
  • •Familiarity with Broadcom MACs and PHYs and Barefoot components and their SDKs.
  • •Experience with Linux networking components and device driver work, including ONL/ONLP, IPMI, and debugging using GDB.
