Job Summary

Join the Product Control (PC) Valuation team as a key contributor for HSBC Mexico Global Banking & Markets. You’ll support valuation matters by contributing to valuation policy, implementing and automating FRTB processes, and handling collateral/MTM and PL valuation disputes. Own fair value adjustments (calculate, post, reconcile) and run daily end-of-day curve processes, while serving as the focal point for valuation questions and ensuring local models are documented and maintained.

•Participate in implementing and automating FRTB processes within the HSBC Mexico Product Control department.
•Investigate collateral/MTM disputes and support the Core PC team for PL disputes related to valuation.
•Calculate, post, and reconcile fair value adjustments for HSBC Mexico Global Banking & Markets.
•Manage the daily end-of-day curve process and serve as the focal point for valuation questions, ensuring models are documented and maintained.

•Strong knowledge of valuation techniques used to derive market value for FX and Fixed Income asset classes.

•Ability to liaise with senior management, use good judgment, and make independent decisions while working in a team.
