Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and maintain wind turbine equipment and associated infrastructure, including substation, collection, and transmission systems.
  • •Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems and perform repairs or replacements according to manufacturer requirements.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance per OEM maintenance manuals and complete various retrofits/design modifications.
  • •Comply with environmental health and safety programs and adhere to internal controls.
  • •Collect data, prepare reports, and perform QA/QC functions including compiling and submitting supporting documents; support commissioning walk-downs if applicable.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 28.5 - 41.25 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •One year of college or a technical school certificate, or 12 months of related experience or wind industry training; or equivalent education and experience; plus a High School Diploma or GED.
  • •Familiarity with maintenance and electronic testing equipment (e.g., voltage testers, amp clamps, oscilloscopes, megohmmeters, infrared testers, hydraulic torque equipment, alignment tools, and hand/power tools).
  • •Advanced computer skills using word processing, spreadsheets, email, facility control, management and reporting systems, and computerized diagnostic/troubleshooting tools.
  • •Ability to climb towers up to 100 meters daily to perform maintenance in the nacelle and hub.
  • •Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
