Key Responsibilities

  • •Stay current on codes and technologies for power, lighting, telecommunications, and fire alarm systems.
  • •Research, develop, design, specify, and witness testing of electrical systems, equipment, components, and materials.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or similar plus 6+ years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
  • •Strong electrical code knowledge including NEC, California Building Energy Efficiency Code, UFC, ASHRAE and IECC.
  • •Competence in conventional aspects of electrical building engineering systems and collaboration with team members.
  • •Ability to manage and work on multiple projects; experience with sustainable design/certification (LEED and/or WELL) preferred.
