Job Summary

Use a consultative sales approach to assess customers’ financial needs, build customer profiles, and recommend retail consumer and small business solutions. Proactively reach out using approved marketing tools, cross-sell to existing customers, and support outside sales activities. Serve as a member of the financial center platform staff by processing teller transactions, providing guidance on sales/referrals, maintaining confidentiality, and helping deliver individual/team production and customer experience goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, with certification at the end of the program.
•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the bank’s value proposition.
•Proactively reach out to customers using CAMP and approved marketing tools, set appointments, and engage in cross-selling and outside sales activities.
•Process teller transactions and partner with business teams (e.g., Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) by referring customers and supporting sales/referral processes.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience that provides transferable skills (or a combination of education and experience).
•Experience in the financial industry (preferred).
•Ability to comfortably perform sales activities to acquire new consumer household and small business customers and cross-sell to existing customers.
•Understanding of advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration required at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
