Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform inspections and diagnostics on GSE and MHE during turn-in processing.
  • •Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance per Army standards and applicable TMs.
  • •Repair and maintain equipment systems (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic) and return items to a serviceable state when authorized.
  • •Document maintenance/inspection results using DA Form 2404/5988-E and update condition codes (A–H) in Army systems and per ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
  • •Follow OSHA and safety policies for hazardous materials and safe lifting/towing/transport; coordinate with supply and material teams for serviceability and documentation during turn-in.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years of hands-on experience maintaining GSE or MHE in an Army or contractor environment.
  • •Familiarity with Army maintenance standards, technical manuals (TMs), and property accountability requirements.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) for GSE/MHE.
  • •Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • •Proficiency with Army logistics systems such as GCSS-Army and strong documentation/recordkeeping (DA Form 2404/5988-E).
