Job Summary

Deliver robust and stable VDI/App Delivery virtualization solutions for enterprise clients, handling escalated incidents and critical monitoring alerts. Assess, implement, and troubleshoot complex VDI projects using platforms such as Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft Hyper-V, including support for Omnissa Horizon and Azure Virtual Desktop. Create repeatable standards and support documentation, work with cross-group teams and client stakeholders, and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities

•Support and resolve escalated incidents from lower levels of support, including responding to critical server alerts and system outages.
•Manage tasks and alert monitoring; assess, implement, and troubleshoot complex VDI/App Delivery Virtualization projects using multiple technologies.
•Configure and support complex system configurations and standards for Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft Hyper-V platforms.
•Develop repeatable standards and implementation processes to ensure uniformity, and maintain support documentation and knowledge base articles.
•Directly interact with clients and internal teams on complex VDI/App Delivery environments, participate in 24/7 on-call, and follow ITIL Change Management processes.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of IT infrastructure technical implementation experience and 5+ years of engineering/support experience related to x86 offerings such as VMware, Microsoft, and Citrix.
•Advanced engineering and support experience with highly available Omnissa Horizon environments, including Omnissa Certified Administrator – Horizon (OCA-H).
•3+ years of experience with Azure Virtual Desktop.
•Strong knowledge of Windows Networking, Active Directory, and profile management, plus enterprise datacenter fundamentals (Networking, Security, TCP/IP, SAN, NAS).
•Ability to assess, implement, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure systems and configurations using procedures, scripts, and templates.
