Job Summary

Join a global Cloud Operations team responsible for keeping MongoDB Atlas up and running. You’ll monitor dashboards, analyze incidents, automate routine tasks, and collaborate with product, cloud engineering, and support teams to reduce incident MTTR and improve platforms. Office-based in Cork with a flexible in-office model, contributing to 24/7/365 support for Atlas customers.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate with a global Cloud Operations team to maintain uptime guarantees for Atlas customers.
•Scale the Cloud Operations Engineering team by refining processes and tools.
•Scope, design, and deploy systems to reduce Mean Time to Resolve for incidents.
•Monitor for emerging customer-facing incidents and assist in proactive resolution.
•Automate routine monitoring and troubleshooting tasks.

Key Requirements

•2+ years experience as an on-call DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Operations engineer
•Expertise with Linux system administration, configuration, and troubleshooting
•Experience in monitoring, collecting and analyzing system performance data, and reporting
•Knowledge of database operations and concepts
•Familiarity with AWS and other cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) and networking (DNS, TCP/IP)

Education:Bachelor's in CS/CEMSc/BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (Cs/CE degree or equivalent)
