Job Summary

Lead the VAS platform transformation for Visa’s Technology Organization, providing hands-on technical leadership for multiple development teams. Drive the modernization roadmap, define and deliver functional and non-functional capabilities at large scale, and champion engineering excellence across security, reliability, scalability, and automation. Build GenAI/ML-powered and API-driven solutions, manage technical debt and incident/change/problem processes, and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders while expanding VAS solutions footprint.

•Spearhead design, development, and implementation of GenAI and modern integration patterns for the VAS platform.
•Own end-to-end software development lifecycle and deliver secure, high-performing solutions with significant business impact.
•Lead engineering excellence in quality, security, performance, scalability, resilience, and automation for development/testing/deployment.
•Hire, retain, and develop diverse global engineering teams; mentor and foster continuous learning and improvement.
•Oversee daily operations (budgeting, planning, resource management, delivery tracking, QA, metrics) and ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and privacy standards.

•Proficiency building microservices using HTTP, REST, JSON, and XML.
•Deep understanding of Agile and the software development lifecycle, with ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
