Key Responsibilities

  • •Work collaboratively with the UK team to investigate alternative investment attributes during UK working hours.
  • •Research investments on the global database and classify them by asset type, vintage, and strategy.
  • •Oversee operational workflows for alternative data processing and develop process controls and accurate quality metrics.
  • •Partner with the Research team to implement and run data quality validations.
  • •Oversee the alternatives security master and security classification processes, including owning and optimizing end-to-end data ingestion pipelines and troubleshooting technical blockers; explore AI-assisted developer tools to streamline workflows and document parsing.

Key Requirements

  • •Prior experience in the financial investment/advisory industry with knowledge of capital markets and middle/back-office operations systems, preferably with alternatives funds data and reporting statements.
  • •Strong problem-solving abilities with self-motivation to take responsibility and a strong team-player mindset.
  • •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and custodial data providers as well as internal partners.
  • •Technical skills preferred in Microsoft Excel or Google Suite, Atlassian Jira/Confluence, SQL, Python (Jupyter Notebook, Pandas, PySpark), Databricks, Bloomberg, Pitchbook, or similar systems.
  • •Strong proficiency with SQL and Databricks (PySpark) to navigate data architectures, extract audits, and validate high-volume datasets.
