Job Summary

Develop and optimize x-ray tomography (XCT) recipes to improve throughput and image quality for high-value customer problems. Identify system-level gaps and support algorithm development by validating new algorithms using customer datasets. Debug and troubleshoot issues across EPICS controllers and Linux-based systems, and collaborate with customers to design mission-critical experiments (DOE) for dose reduction and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

•Create x-ray tomography recipes to optimize throughput and image quality for customer high-value problems.
•Identify system-level gaps (e.g., detector readout, system geometry constraints) and report findings to the BU.
•Help test new algorithms with customer datasets and determine algorithm development paths.
•Debug and troubleshoot issues across EPICS controllers and Linux-based systems.
•Collaborate with business units and customers to design DoE for dose reduction and dose monitoring.

•Serve as a technical systems expert, including debugging EPICS (experimental physics in control systems) controllers and Linux challenges.

•Develop or support additional algorithms and scripts as needed.
•Work with business units and customers to create Design of Experiments (DOE) for mission-critical tasks like dose reduction and dose monitoring.
