Key Responsibilities

  • •Set and drive technical direction and architecture across the NHI Governance domain and its integration with shared platform services.
  • •Own complex, high-risk, cross-cutting technical initiatives end to end, from ambiguous problem to delivered system.
  • •Define standards, interfaces, and contracts that multiple teams and products depend on, and shepherd their adoption.
  • •Partner with product, design, and peer engineering leaders to align technical strategy with business goals.
  • •Drive quality, security, observability, and performance as first-class concerns, while mentoring engineers and leading design reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep expertise architecting and delivering large-scale, distributed, cloud-native systems.
  • •Expert programming skills in C#, Go, TypeScript, Java (or similar) with strong API and distributed-systems design.
  • •Hands-on experience with Claude Code (or comparable agentic AI coding tools) and the judgment to define patterns and guardrails.
  • •Track record owning architecture and technical direction across multiple teams or an entire domain.
  • •Strong AWS expertise designing, hosting, and operating production applications at scale, plus hands-on experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
