Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, adjust, and repair production equipment, heavy trucks, and special purpose machines as assigned.
  • •Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts, and complete assigned tasks.
  • •Test and troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery, determine repairs, and discuss with the Head Mechanic for approval when needed.
  • •Replace and install faulty parts including electrical wires, motors, controls, and circuit boards; install equipment and electrical components and test operation.
  • •Dismantle equipment to access and remove defective parts and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
