Job Summary

Maintain and repair equipment, tools, and machinery under direction of the Maintenance Supervisor or Head Mechanic. Install and adjust production equipment and heavy trucks, operate hand and power tools, and perform welding and cutting as required. Troubleshoot malfunctions, test and ensure proper functioning after repairs, and replace electrical components, motors, controls, and circuit boards. Keep the work area clean and handle dismantling and parts replacement using hoists and cranes.

Key Responsibilities

•Install, adjust, and repair production equipment, heavy trucks, and special purpose machines as assigned.
•Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts, and complete assigned tasks.
•Test and troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery, determine repairs, and discuss with the Head Mechanic for approval when needed.
•Replace and install faulty parts including electrical wires, motors, controls, and circuit boards; install equipment and electrical components and test operation.
•Dismantle equipment to access and remove defective parts and maintain a clean, orderly work area.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/equivalent and ability to perform essential job duties.
•Technical or vocational school certification or equivalent training/experience.

•Mechanical aptitude and skilled use of hand and power tools.
•Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, electricity, carpentry, or related fields (preferred).
