Job Summary

Develop technical training curriculum and technology-based training solutions for Hunter Class Frigate requirements within the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Training Systems Support Team. Perform training feasibility analysis, apply instructional design approaches (SADL/ADDIE), conduct user testing, and produce accurate training documentation aligned to safety and regulatory standards. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, support continuous improvement, and use Microsoft Office plus LMS/LCMS tools to deliver training products to schedule.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct training feasibility analysis and provide specialist instructional design advice to support program requirements.
•Develop technical training curriculum, technology-based training solutions, and training documentation aligned to applicable standards, including safety and regulatory requirements.
•Conduct user testing, validate training designs/resources, and review training products for accuracy, quality, and consistency.
•Prepare training products for delivery to schedule and ensure supporting data is available to meet contractual requirements.
•Collaborate with stakeholders, communicate issues professionally, participate in customer forums when required, and report progress to the ILS Training Lead (Marine Engineering).

Key Requirements

•Australian citizen and eligible to obtain/maintain a defence security clearance for the role.
•Maritime technical trade or production experience (Royal Australian Navy) in areas such as marine systems, electrical systems, IPMS, or propulsion systems.
•Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (essential).
•Practical training design experience using SADL or the ADDIE model.
•Experience designing/developing training in Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTO) under the VET Quality Framework, including LMS/LCMS usage.
