Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, organize, administer, and maintain the Company’s EH&S program and ensure compliance with federal, state, corporate, and international requirements
  • •Act as the authority in EH&S, ergonomics, and industrial hygiene; coach leadership on safe behaviors and improve safety culture
  • •Complete and review Job Hazard/Safety Analysis (JHA/JSA) and lead Lean Safety Gemba daily to identify hazards
  • •Lead incident/accident investigations for near misses and injuries; communicate root-cause actions within 48 hours and implement corrective actions
  • •Maintain and run ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 programs, EH&S compliance systems, training, reporting, and injury/illness tracking

Key Requirements

  • •Associate or bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental health science, or a similar field
  • •3-5 years professional experience in occupational safety, environmental, or similar roles; or 5-10 years experience
  • •OSHA 30 General Industry, environmental, and occupational safety certifications preferred but not required
  • •Automotive or similar manufacturing background preferred
  • •Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and related regulations and reporting, with strong verbal, written, analytical, and influence skills
