Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake numerical analysis and support dam and reservoir studies using specialist software.
  • •Keep up-to-date with regulatory legislation and guidelines affecting design work.
  • •Carry out research, apply theoretical knowledge, and support continuous improvement of project delivery.
  • •Undertake feasibility studies for alternative solutions, considering performance, health and safety, cost, and environmental benefits.
  • •Prepare designs, drawings, specifications, contracts, and clear reports/presentations, including supporting site visits for dam inspections.

Key Requirements

  • •A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field (e.g., geology, geotechnics, structures).
  • •A master’s degree in related subjects would be an advantage.
  • •Water-related modules or relevant work experience would be an advantage.
  • •Enthusiastic, hard-working, and technically proficient, with curiosity and strong research skills.
  • •Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to structure and prioritize work and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
