Job Summary

Own reliability projects that improve resiliency, security, and deployment safety across Coinbase’s production environment. Key Requirements

•10+ years designing, building, and maintaining production services in service-oriented architectures, including experience with Ruby, Go, Terraform, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
•Ability to design and operate reliable, high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems at scale with a track record of production-quality, well-tested code.
•Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Kibana, Datadog) to debug production issues, tune performance, and reduce incident frequency.
•Communicate architecture decisions in writing and verbally to cross-functional engineering stakeholders.
•Participate in on-call rotations and respond to issues outside normal business hours; use generative AI responsibly with human oversight.
