Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain cloud-native infrastructure components for SAP Cloud Infrastructure, enabling European data sovereignty and hyperscaler-grade capabilities.
  • •Implement features for multi-region deployments, including autoscaling across clusters and resilient workloads.
  • •Build and design APIs that handle substantial traffic loads and support distributed systems integration.
  • •Work hands-on with Kubernetes orchestration, networking, and storage solutions used to power customer environments.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong experience developing in Go or Python, including concurrent programming, APIs, and distributed systems design.
  • •Hands-on Kubernetes experience in production (cluster management, workload orchestration, and debugging); Kubernetes operators/controllers are a plus.
  • •Strong cloud-native ecosystem knowledge (CNCF tools such as Helm, Prometheus, Flux, Istio) plus Linux and container networking fundamentals.
  • •Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including advanced features and best practices.
  • •5+ years of software development experience with a continuous-learning mindset for distributed systems; ability to work effectively in agile teams.
