Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, splice, and test fiber optic and copper cables for projects, maintenance, and emergency repairs.
  • •Perform dark fiber and conformance testing (e.g., OTDR, T-Berd) and document results to company standards.
  • •Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fiber and copper networks by locating and resolving faults to ensure service continuity.
  • •Install and enable telecommunication services including POTS, HSI, VDSL, FTTH, and networking; connect and manage wiring/cabling and hardware attachments.
  • •Read service orders/repair tickets and coordinate with test centers or designated personnel; update service orders and advise customers on equipment capabilities and usage.

  • •Read and interpret service orders, repair tickets, technical drawings, blueprints, diagrams, and maps to execute work accurately.
  • •Be able to work varying shifts/hours including mandatory overtime, weekends/holidays, and perform physical fieldwork (including lifting over 75 lbs).
