Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair mechanical and electrical systems (e.g., brakes/cooling/electronics, starters/alternators, steering, engines, transmissions, clutches, differentials).
  • •Inspect, test, and road test defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using tools and diagnostic instruments.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory and equipment on the company-issued service truck, including periodic reconciliation.
  • •Document work and findings on Repair Orders using required company devices/apps and complete DOT forms in a timely manner.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and 3 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination, e.g., 5 years experience).
  • •Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
  • •Obtain Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) T8 (PMI) certification within eighteen (18) months.
  • •Pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical (or submit a current DOT medical card with required remaining validity).
  • •Be at least 21 years old and hold a valid state-of-residence driver’s license; Class C drivers license required.
