Job Summary

Lead a team of Lead and Senior Analytics Engineers to build and scale a centralized, AI-ready analytics foundation. Own roadmap and technical direction for a key data platform area, shaping semantic layer and metrics standards that power trusted dashboards, models, and AI experiences. Partner with Sales, Underwriting, Finance, Risk, Account Servicing, and Product to turn complex business problems into durable, governed data products using Snowflake, dbt, and CI/CD practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead, coach, and develop a team of Lead and Senior Analytics Engineers.
•Write and review SQL/dbt code, driving technical design and maintaining testing, documentation, and craftsmanship across the Snowflake + dbt stack.
•Own the roadmap for your portion of the analytics platform, balancing delivery, quality, and technical debt.
•Design and deliver scalable data models, marts, and a reliable semantic layer that serves as a single source of truth.
•Lead the build-out of the semantic layer and metrics standards so KPIs are defined once and consumed consistently across dashboards, models, AI agents, and downstream products.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 170,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

•7+ years in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence with strong SQL and dimensional/data modeling fundamentals.
•2+ years of people management experience leading senior individual contributors, including performance and career development.
•Deep hands-on expertise with dbt and a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake strongly preferred), including incremental models, testing strategies, and macros.
•Experience designing and operating a semantic or metrics layer that acts as a trusted source of truth across an organization.
•Proven ability to partner with senior cross-functional leaders to translate business problems into durable data products.
