Job Summary

Oversee and support technicians and service providers for installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of refrigeration systems. Provide remote technical support, perform site assessments, and lead complex troubleshooting with recommended corrective actions. Manage service execution through work order/document review, refrigerant tracking, and proactive diagnostic health checks, while coordinating scheduling, quotes, and service delivery. Support technician hiring, training, compliance, and may direct onsite construction crews as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide remote technical support to installing contractors and field technicians to ensure break/fix repairs align with Trane guidelines.
•Conduct site assessments based on service call reviews and customer requirements.
•Support complex troubleshooting during service execution and recommend corrective actions to resolve technical issues.
•Deliver scheduled after-hours, weekend, and holiday technical assistance, and perform proactive remote diagnostic health checks and service call reviews.
•Assist with technician scheduling, quote support, hiring, training, compliance, and review work orders, refrigerant tracking, and service documentation for accuracy and process compliance.

Key Requirements

•Associate degree or accredited apprenticeship in refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, or related engineering technology with 5 years of commercial/industrial refrigeration service experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 10 years of related experience.
•At least 3 years of maintenance or service experience and a Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification.
•Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Technical Management plus experience leading commercial/industrial refrigeration, HVAC, and electrical service.
•Strong communication, leadership, teamwork, initiative, and sound decision-making skills.
•Broad mechanical repair knowledge, strong Microsoft Office and mobile device skills, and ability to travel up to 40%.
