Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement features in Openflow’s control plane and data plane for real-time, bi-directional data movement.
  • •Contribute to distributed systems for batch and streaming workloads across Snowflake and non-Snowflake environments.
  • •Deliver small projects end to end, from requirements clarification and technical design through implementation, testing, rollout, and follow-up improvements.
  • •Operate and support built components, including monitoring, on-call participation, incident response, and post-incident reliability improvements.
  • •Improve performance, scalability, and reliability using metrics, profiling, and experimentation; participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 160,000 - 230,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of experience building and operating backend or platform services with hands-on distributed systems work.
  • •Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and systems design applied in production code.
  • •Practical distributed systems knowledge (e.g., concurrency, replication, partitioning, streaming, fault tolerance) with an understanding of correctness and performance impacts.
  • •Proficiency in Java or a similar object-oriented language (Scala, Go, or C++), with experience in large shared codebases.
  • •Experience building cloud-native services on AWS, Azure, or GCP using containers, CI/CD, and modern monitoring/logging; BS in Computer Science (or equivalent).
