Job Summary

Lead certification and completions activities for a large-scale EPCm construction project, ensuring scopes within LOSH are understood and communicated before work starts. Oversee energisation and “set to work” tests, monitor progress to prevent slippage, and review test results and progress reports. Drive a proactive, balanced approach to safety, manage closeout of defects, and coordinate subcontractors/vendors to support smooth handover to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to the team on completing work in line with Wood and client procedures.
•Ensure certification/completions scopes within LOSH are understood and communicated before starting work.
•Oversee controlling, witnessing, recording, and assessing results of initial energisation and “set to work” tests, coordinating with Construction Team Leaders for handover.
•Drive and monitor proactive, balanced safety (conventional and environmental) during certification/completions activities and carry out safety reviews/walk-rounds.
•Monitor completions/certification progress and performance, review/approve test results and progress reports, and manage closeout of defects/deficiencies within project scope.

Key Requirements

•Extensive experience (typically a minimum of 8 years) in a certification and/or completions role, including experience supervising and leading teams.
•Ability to read relevant drawings (P&IDs, SLDs, GAs) and teach others, with strong understanding of LOSH.
•Expert knowledge of certification and completions processes and associated software.
•Experience producing procedures and reports.
•Excellent knowledge of HSEQ safe working practices and procedures.
