Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide rich synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students.
  • •Differentiate and personalize instruction based on students’ mastery and prescribed course policies.
  • •Monitor student progress in Stride K12’s learning management system and maintain gradebook ensuring academic integrity.
  • •Communicate with and support students and families/learning coaches, including timely responses and basic troubleshooting in a virtual classroom.
  • •Prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests and travel as required for professional development and testing (about monthly and/or ~20% of the time).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree AND an active state teaching license.
  • •Idaho Math Teaching Certificate.
  • •Ability to clear the required background check.
  • •Experience teaching in an online (virtual) and/or in a brick-and-mortar environment.
  • •Proficiency with online learning platforms and supporting adults/children in using technology.
