Job Summary

Perform experienced auto body repair work on multiple panels in Carvana’s high-tech Inspection Centers, including heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, stud welding, and large-area bodywork such as Bondo repair. Work in a fast-paced reconditioning environment while following safety procedures and using state-of-the-art tools. This role also includes training and mentoring other autobody technicians.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform experienced bodywork on multiple panels, including heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, roof/rocker panel repair, and stud welding.
•Complete large area, heavy bodywork such as Bondo repair.
•Use state-of-the-art tools in Carvana Inspection Centers while following safety requirements.
•Work effectively in a fast-paced, changing production environment with occasional exposure to extreme weather conditions.
•Train other autobody technicians (for the experienced prepper track).

Key Requirements

•Minimum of 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
•Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools, including lifting up to 60 pounds independently.
•Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license (some positions may require an MVR check).
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment and be exposed to heat/cold conditions.
•Use safety equipment (e.g., face shield or goggles, gloves, mask, non-slip shoes) and protective garments as required.
