Job Summary

Join a civil design team supporting municipal infrastructure projects across roads, drainage, and utilities. You’ll assist with drafting and revisions, build AutoCAD and Civil 3D models and drawings from engineering direction, and help maintain organized drawing packages and project documentation. You’ll collaborate with engineers and designers to incorporate feedback, learn municipal standards and best practices, and support quantity take-offs and basic design tasks to aid delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Support preparation of civil engineering drawings for municipal infrastructure projects including roads, drainage, and utilities.
•Assist in developing AutoCAD and Civil 3D models and drawings based on engineering direction.
•Contribute to accuracy and quality of design deliverables through careful drafting and revisions.
•Update drawing packages and maintain organized project documentation throughout the design process.
•Collaborate with engineers and designers to incorporate feedback and refine designs, including supporting quantity take-offs and basic design tasks.

Key Requirements

•Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field.
•1–3 years of experience in a drafting or design support role, preferably in municipal infrastructure.
•Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
•Familiarity with basic civil design concepts such as grading, servicing, and roadworks.
•Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality drawings.
