Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas, including internal/external resources and customers.
  • •Assure execution of technical aspects of a space program across product definition, validation, software and systems engineering, design integration, test & evaluation, and certification.
  • •Develop SOWs to satisfy research and development and ongoing/new business requirements.
  • •Define performance metrics and ensure WBS/PBS, schedule, and resource loading are completed by the team.
  • •Develop responsibility/authority/accountability (RAA), maintain team organization, and lead project execution; work independently and incorporate lessons learned into process improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to obtain a Tier 5 (T5) background investigation (SSBI) and program access requiring U.S. Citizenship.
  • •Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related fields including computer science, physics, mathematics, or data science.
  • •9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
  • •5+ years of experience with space-based products.
  • •Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which U.S. Citizenship is required, including entering a Continuous Evaluation program post-start if needed.
