Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in compliance, regulatory affairs, or legal roles within financial services, payments, or crypto/digital assets in Japan.
  • •Strong knowledge of Japan’s regulatory framework for payments and/or crypto-asset businesses.
  • •Experience working with or reporting to the FSA (directly or through counsel).
  • •Experience with financial license applications with Regional Finance Bureaus (RFB) and the FSA.
  • •Business-level Japanese and English fluency (native Japanese speaker preferred).
