Key Responsibilities

•Define and execute an AI adoption plan for staff channels engineering, including secure prompt patterns, test automation, documentation automation, and knowledge search (RAG).
•Ensure Responsible AI, security, and risk-by-design by implementing governance for prompts, datasets, outputs, and human-in-the-loop review where required.
•Own delivery outcomes across multiple squads, managing planning, execution, dependencies, and release readiness with engineering management practices.
•Champion modern engineering excellence by leveraging AI to amplify DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, trunk-based development, and SRE/platform engineering practices.
•Lead people development and capability uplift by coaching engineers and tech leads, building career pathways, and running enablement sessions and communities of practice.

Key Requirements

•8–12+ years in software engineering with proven experience leading engineering teams through people management and delivery ownership.
•Deliver digital/channel platforms (web/api) and backend services/APIs in a regulated environment.
•Demonstrate improvements in engineering productivity and quality using modern practices, standards, and developer tooling.
•Hands-on experience with AI/GenAI in software engineering (e.g., copilots, RAG/knowledge search, test generation, incident support, SDLC automation).
•Strong secure SDLC knowledge, privacy-by-design, and operational excellence (observability, incident management, SRE practices).
