Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, maintain, and implement the Obsolescence Management Plan for software application-level obsolescence concerns.
  • •Investigate and maintain centralized lists of software dependencies and obsolescence information for prioritized configuration items.
  • •Create and continuously track engineering artefacts supporting obsolescence working groups within a collaborative work environment.
  • •Coordinate with authorized technical representatives to gather inputs, risk-manage timelines, implement approved changes, and provide updated documentation to the client.
  • •Supervise and report on team activities, host monthly obsolescence meetings, and use ILS analysis methods to identify and mitigate obsolescence.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience performing ILS activities.
  • •Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Technologist Diploma.
  • •Proficient in excel data management with strong attention to detail and systems thinking.
  • •In-depth knowledge of application licensing methods, expertise in version control and change management, and ability to work with and maintain legacy systems.
  • •Experience interfacing between internal/external stakeholders, including managing relationships with software vendors.
