Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide senior leadership accountable to the Head of Foundations Technology Data.
  • •Ensure technology and operational risks are controlled in line with Group and business objectives.
  • •Drive transformation of the technology estate, including target-state architecture and alignment with enterprise technology principles.
  • •Deliver in-scope technology outcomes on time and on budget, aligned to GCIO priorities.
  • •Champion Agile practices and reduce interactive access to production systems through automation, ensuring resilience and security.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong understanding of Financial Services with knowledge of Finance and Financial Risk domains.
  • •Experience as a senior technologist with a track record of on-time delivery and effective management of a large production technology estate.
  • •Experience leading large, global technology teams driving innovation and enabling people to develop and deliver.
  • •Strong engineering background with the ability to operate strategically and provide engineering leadership down to execution details.
  • •Track record of DevOps and Agile adoption and optimisation in a complex, global environment.
