Job Summary

Lead engineering solution development for new and existing product designs as part of Global NPI and manufacturing initiatives. Develop test plans and validation parameters across mechanical, electrical, software, and related specifications, perform technical risk assessments, and drive issue resolution with internal and outsourced partners. Represent the mechanical/thermal team across complex project phases, deliver well-documented reports, and mentor less-experienced engineers to improve reliability, performance, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

•Design engineering solutions for products, systems, and software using multiple engineering disciplines while ensuring cost effectiveness and quality.
•Develop and execute parameters and test plans for new and existing designs, validating mechanical, electrical, software, and other engineering specifications and requirements.
•Conduct technical risk assessments and ensure appropriate risk mitigation efforts are applied to engineering solutions.
•Collaborate with management, internal teams, and outsourced development partners on design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
•Lead project teams and represent the mechanical/thermal team across complex development project phases; deliver documented reports and mentor less-experienced staff.

Key Requirements

•Four-year or Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
•4-7 years of work experience in engineering design and/or engineering design tools and software packages, or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of experience.
•Experience developing parameters and test plans to validate engineering specifications and requirements across mechanical, electrical, and software domains.
•Ability to perform technical risk assessments and define appropriate mitigation efforts.
•Strong problem-solving skills and good judgment in selecting creative solutions for moderately complex engineering issues.
