Job Summary

Develop, maintain, and analyze Program Master Phasing Schedules and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for classified work in Tucson. Lead compliant IMS creation and baseline maintenance, validate network logic and critical paths, and perform schedule risk analysis and variance reporting using EVMS processes. Partner with program teams to integrate cost, schedule, and technical requirements, follow IPDS and life-cycle directives, and mentor junior planners.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead development, maintenance, and analysis of Program Master Phasing Schedules and Integrated Master Plans/Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
•Create and maintain compliant IMS baselines that integrate cost, schedule, and technical requirements into execution plans.
•Conduct schedule risk analysis, explain results to program teams, and integrate mitigation plans and schedule risks into risk management.
•Provide weekly and monthly planning metrics (schedule status, baseline maintenance, critical path, variance analysis, and network logic validation) using EVMS processes.
•Mentor and train junior planners and support team adherence to IPDS and program lifecycle scheduling practices.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree and minimum 8 years of Program Planning/Scheduling or Project Management experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 5 years’ experience.
•Experience creating and maintaining industry schedule artifacts using tools such as MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan, or similar scheduling software.
•Experience developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and/or evaluating critical path and workflow.
•Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business processes.
•Prior experience working with IMS coding, structure adherence to directives, and ensuring schedule accuracy and completeness.
