Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in new packaging design & materials development across multiple teams.
  • •Support sustainable packaging projects (Rigid Plastic Packaging, Flexible Plastic Packaging, Fiber-based Packaging, Decarbonization).
  • •Scout new technologies and identify materials and converting solutions through technical research and supplier meetings.
  • •Conduct feasibility studies including lab tests, production trials, cost estimation, benchmarking, and Life Cycle Analysis.
  • •Review relevant literature and external information; run small packaging projects independently.

Key Requirements

  • •Must be enrolled at a Dutch university for the duration of the internship (EU students: at least 50% of the duration; Non-EU students: whole duration).
  • •Fluency in English (written and verbal); Dutch language is not a requirement but other languages are a plus.
  • •EU working rights are required (EU Citizenship, current study in the Netherlands, or valid student work visa).
  • •Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • •Knowledge or coursework in packaging design/technology, polymers, sustainability/LCA is desirable.
