Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide cyber security for civil engineer-owned Facility Related Control Systems (FRCS) as the appointed Information System Security Officer (ISSO).
  • •Create and maintain complete system inventories for FRCS components and support security control implementation and assessment.
  • •Register systems in eMASS for ATO activities, including continuous monitoring and annual security reviews.
  • •Detect and analyze intrusion attempts and compromises, implement countermeasures/mitigating controls, and perform vulnerability assessments and system audits.
  • •Perform incident response activities and coordinate with AFCEC to record and report incidents.

Key Requirements

  • •3-5 years of related experience in data security administration.
  • •SECRET clearance required and must be able to obtain Secret clearance.
  • •Cyber security certification required (min. IAT Level II per DoW 8570.01-M).
  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
  • •Knowledge of DOW and Air Force Risk Management Framework (RMF), Information Assurance, and NETOPS; NIST 800 series and eMASS familiarity desired.
