Key Responsibilities

  • •Repair and maintain molds used in the injection molding process in a neat and orderly manner.
  • •Repair molds in accordance with Tool Shop Work Instructions and collaborate with associates to accomplish objectives.
  • •Tear down and assemble molds, and change core inserts and/or orifice sizes.
  • •Troubleshoot mold problems, use precision tools and bench work, and understand mold workings to support improvements.
  • •Lead repair operations toward completion, analyze parts, plan repair procedures, and detect issues during preventive maintenance while following Food Safety and cGMP policies.

Key Requirements

  • •2-year degree in machining trades technology (Tool & Die or Injection Mold Tooling) from Vincennes University or equivalent.
  • •Ability to use machine shop mathematics (algebra, geometry, trigonometry).
  • •Ability to run conventional machine shop machines, including CNC equipment.
  • •Ability to work independently and with others with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • •Ability to read and interpret written documents and apply strong problem-solving skills.
