Job Summary

A Civil/rail engineering role based in Glasgow, delivering wide-ranging rail civils designs from stations to lineside drainage, with multidisciplinary project exposure. Key Responsibilities

•Deliver a wide range of rail civils designs including stations, train maintenance depots, signalling upgrades, lineside civils and drainage, and support to other parts of the business on major multidisciplinary projects
•Collaborate with the Civils design team on all aspects of multi-disciplinary projects, from conceptual phases to implementation
•Ensure quality by navigating the complexities of transportation projects and addressing client needs as they arise
•Provide technical leadership and expertise across multidisciplinary projects to ensure design principles are followed and interfaces are managed effectively
•Support and contribute to other parts of the business on major multi-disciplinary projects and initiatives in the rail sector

Key Requirements

•Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (CEng/IEng) or working towards this status
•Recognised engineering qualification or degree in engineering
•Knowledge of Civils Design with leadership in discipline design principles and managing project interfaces
•Experience delivering rail civils design across multiple project types (stations, depots, lineside civils, drainage) and supporting multi-disciplinary projects
•Ability to work within a team to provide technical leadership and deliver quality outcomes for transportation projects
