•Own and deliver quarterly team goals while leading engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended backend problems.
•Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics throughout the product development lifecycle by articulating technical constraints and trade-offs.
•Proactively identify and advocate for project, process, technology, or business issues and lead in resolving them.
•Create and monitor metrics for the team’s artifacts, escalate when needed, and support keep-the-lights-on and on-call efforts.
•Set and improve code review and design standards, mentor engineers and new hires/interns, and contribute to high-signal hiring.
