Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate a Loader as the primary equipment and operate other heavy equipment as needed.
  • •Ramp stockpiles and load customers safely, accurately, and in a timely fashion.
  • •Assist in the event of a breakdown and support day-to-day plant operations.
  • •Clean up around plants and surrounding areas, including general labor duties such as shoveling.
  • •Lubricate and perform general maintenance on equipment while following safety rules and company policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Operate a Loader and other heavy equipment accurately, efficiently, and safely.
  • •Able to ramp stockpiles and load customers safely and on time.
  • •Ability to follow directions and work in a team environment, assisting coworkers or supervisors as needed.
  • •High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training (or equivalent).
  • •Join Local 18 IUOE within 60 days of employment.
