Job Summary

Provide manufacturing process engineering work instructions and technical guidance to support disassembly, repair, assembly, and testing of gas-turbine engines at an MRO facility. Lead reviews of process breakdowns with root-cause and corrective actions, define repair workscopes, approve and update complex work control documents, and translate production data to maintain process control and drive production metrics. Support training and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors while upholding EHS standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Interpret technical data to support production and lead investigations of process breakdowns, including root cause and corrective actions.
•Define comprehensive, clear, concise, cost-effective repair workscopes that meet customer requirements.
•Approve and update complex work control documents used for maintaining engine/module hardware using standard work processes and approved technical references.
•Provide technical assistance for verification of proper configuration of engine/module hardware and support training for mechanics and operators on new tech data.
•Aggregate and translate production data to maintain process control and drive production metrics while upholding EHS regulations and best practices.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering discipline is required.
•Minimum 5 years of engineering and/or manufacturing experience, or a Master’s degree in a technical discipline with minimum 3 years of the same experience.
•Willing to work 1st shift (0700-1600) and extra time including weekends as necessary; may be called off-hours for job-related questions.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance and program access for F119 and F135 is required.
•U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
